Heavy weather today is meaning no boats are crossing until the early hours of Wednesday. The only team crossing today is the big ocean-going trimaran, Malolo. Everyone else is staying back on the advice of Coast Guard and R2AK High Command.
The weather did more than just keep racers off the water. It kept our media team cold and shoreside yesterday as well. But look out for updates from us later. We’ll be heading down to Dungeness Bay to catch up with the teams camped out and anchored there.
