R2AK 2017 Team Make it So

Day -2: The Daily Fix – It’s the journey dude

Here is where I think a podcast would go –

Here at race high command we’ve been looking at the fleet of racers for 2017. ONe trend we noticed is boats are getting smaller. Crew from the 2016 race are returning with half the boat they raced in last year adn we don’t know why anyone would think that is a good idea.  So we decided to ask someone who may know and tracked down Port Townsend own small boat legend Josh Colvin.  For those of you who don’t know Josh, he is the shadowy figure in the creation of many small boat racers.  Josh had a hand in event like the cruiser challenge, columbia 150,  the Texas 200 and most recently the Race to Alaska.  His small boat nerdism led him to cofound the national magazine Small Craft advisor, focuing on small sail boats and adventure.  and he also owns Duckworks, an online magazine and boatbuilding supply.
