The R2AK has two official options- race to Victoria and call it a day, or do the whole 750 miles and race all the way to Ketchikan. Team Bahamas dreamed up a race hack by creating a previously undiscovered option 3: Race to Victoria, then slap the outboard back on and follow the race route to Ketchikan, waving to the rowers, the paddlers and the drifting as they cruise ahead to make sure they make that next tide. Brilliant. We wish we would have thought of that.
